Call for Contributions

ICOODB 2009 invites submissions for tutorials, industry talks, research papers and demonstrations. All types of submissions should be submitted through the online submission system.

Tutorials

The first day of ICOODB 2009 will be the tutorial day. A number of half-day tutorials will be offered on a range of topics related to object databases. Registration for these tutorials will be separate from the main conference registration and is therefore optional for conference participants. Further details of the submission process are given in the Tutorials section of this web site.

Industry Talks

The second day of ICOODB 2009 will be the industry day and the programme will include a variety of technical presentations on innovative commercial technologies, tools, applications as well as evaluations of existing technologies and also proposed standards. Proposals for industry talks will consist of a short abstract and these will be reviewed by the Chairs of the Industrial Track along with members of the ICOODB Steering Committee. Further details of the submission process are given in the Industry section of this web site.

Research Papers

The third day of ICOODB 2009 will be the research day with a programme that allows researchers to present new results and exchange ideas on open scientific issues related to theoretical and engineering aspects of object databases. Submissions will consist of original research papers which will be reviewed and selected by the Scientific Programme Committee. The papers which are accepted will be published in the conference proceedings (details to follow). Further details of the submission process are given in the Research section of this web site.

Demonstrations

To encourage interaction and information flow between the industry and research communities, there will be an exhibition and reception on the evening between the industry and research days. The exhibition will provide an opportunity for participants to see latest product and research developments in action. Further details of the submission process are given in the Demonstrations section of this web site.
